Research & Science

What are Prebiotics.?

Just like us, our gut requires fuelling to keep it going. Prebiotics are those food fibres that feed the Good Probiotic bacteria in our gut and help increase the number of desirable bacteria in our digestive system. Examples include beans, almonds, skins of apples, bananas, watermelon and more.

What are Probiotics.?

Probiotics are live microorganisms, that is good for you, especially your digestive system. Your body is home to trillions of microorganisms, known as your microbiome. Your microbiome is unique and ever changing which can be influenced by your health status, stress, diet, age, gender, and various environmental factors. Probiotics are also called the “Good” or “Helpful” bacteria as they can support good health in different ways. They can help your immune system function properly and therefore promote digestive system function and support nutrient absorption to name a few.

What are Postbiotics.?

PostbioticsTM are developed through specialised immobilisation and heat-treated technology of live probiotics. These “non-viable probiotics” have been specifically developed to withstand higher temperatures, humidity and moisture compared to standard live probiotics. Through this process the Probiotics maintain their beneficial properties while making them easier to store and be used in your favourite Coffee, Tea, Smoothie and even food. This functional food supplement has similar health benefits compared to live Probiotics, but are safer to use (1).

Immobilised and Heat-treated bacteria, like Postbiotics have many of the same benefits as Probiotics, as shown in the table below:

5 reviews for Café Probiotic Sachets

  1. Jacques Roux

    I Love this product…
Easy to use in my morning Coffee and mid-morning Smoothie.
After a week I started feeling less bloated and sluggish.. I have lactose and gluten problems and this helps me cope better, especially if I cheat a little and take lactose and gluten products…
I really felt the difference, when I forgot too use it for a few days..
This works great to keep my gut healthy and balanced as I don’t always eat healthy..
We even put this on the kids cereal and they don’t notice or taste it..

  2. Annette McDonald

Our family has had some health challenges and Niche Biotics is helping us improve our health from the inside. Easy to take, tasteless in hot or cold drinks, it has become an easy part of our daily routine!

  3. Donna Mc Manimm

I love this product, so easy to use in a morning smoothie or in a cup of my favourite herb tea. I don’t feel bloated any more and have even lost weight, which I have been trying to lose for years. Thank you for this wonderful product.

  4. Eunette van Niekerk

I have struggled with my tummy all my life, being constipated for a month, then having diarrhoea for two days and straight back to constipation. Since drinking my Niche Biotics I have the pleasure of an easy bowel movement every morning and feeling amazing! Niche Biotics has change my life for good! I won’t ever go without them!

  5. Salome Goosen

Great product. What I like the most is that it dissolves easily in hot and cold liquids. I could feel the benefits for myself within a short time period. It definitely helps with healing the gut lining. Has improved my acid reflux as well. Love it.
